Naomi is the Assistant Marketing Manager, Eldon Square Shopping Centre and has completed the CIM Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing<\/a> (L4) to formalise her marketing experience.<\/p>

Why did you choose to study this qualification?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

While working for Bridges Shopping Centre, I took the opportunity to further my marketing knowledge and experience with nesma. Starting as a marketing intern and then moving on to become a marketing coordinator was a fantastic experience. I had a degree in Tourism Management, and I didn\u2019t have a formal marketing qualification. I\u2019m a keen learner, and when I had the opportunity to study a professional CIM qualification, I took it and loved every minute. <\/p>

 What did you discover about yourself in the process? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Completing the course has given me a better understanding of marketing, and it has also clarified what I was learning while working. Learning face to face and virtually with other professionals was very insightful. I enjoyed sharing ideas and meeting new people.<\/p>

 Has studying with nesma helped you in your career? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Yes, nesma has given me the tools to grow in the marketing field and move my career forward. <\/strong><\/p>

What did you enjoy most about the studying process? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

It was great to meet like-minded people, and sharing ideas with each other was an essential part of the course structure and learning experience.<\/span><\/p>

 What type of things do you do differently now? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

I take more time to research and plan a new marketing campaign to meet the objectives and deliver the outcomes.<\/p>

 What words of advice would you give anyone considering a career in marketing\/PR? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Go for it! Marketing is fun and one day is never the same. Every day you learn something new, which keeps the job exciting and you on your toes.<\/p>

 What are the significant changes within your industry at present? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Retail is going through a difficult time at the moment, due to the pandemic shopping habits changed dramatically; however, it is beginning to return to a \u2018new normal.<\/p>

What do you enjoy most when you aren\u2019t doing the day job? <\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Exploring the world and keeping up to date with all things marketing. I do love it.<\/p>
