She currently works as a Marketing Executive for a telecommunications provider, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nte.works\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NTE Limited<\/a>, based in Sunderland. In a nutshell, her role there involves working with the Channel Development Manager and Account Managers to increase partner engagement and retention through content creation, marketing communications and the ongoing development of the partner programme.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-central-palette-2-color\">How has studying with nesma helped you in your current role?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4><p>Studying with nesma provided me with the opportunity to discuss my ideas with like-minded marketing professionals every week. The tutors made the course relatable by applying their own career experiences to the content. From this, I\u2019ve gained much more confidence in my decision-making abilities and can now communicate my ideas effectively. Just one month after I\u2019d handed in my final assignment, I was able to present a marketing strategy to the company\u2019s directors which then influenced the overall business strategy for the entire organisation.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-central-palette-2-color\">Tell us about your career journey so far?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4><p>After leaving college at 18, I decided to do an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing which involved a year\u2019s placement whilst studying a level 3 qualification in Digital Marketing. Once I finished my apprenticeship, I was offered a permanent position as a Marketing Executive and went on to study <a href=\"https:\/\/hyperlink-technology.com\/nesma\/qualification\/cim-certificate-in-professional-marketing\/\">CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing<\/a> online. After successful completion, I progressed onto the <a href=\"https:\/\/hyperlink-technology.com\/nesma\/qualification\/cim-diploma-in-professional-marketing\/\">CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing<\/a> at nesma. I opted to study at the nesma study centre instead of continuing my online studies as I think the best way to learn is from other people\u2019s experiences. I felt the lack of human interaction throughout my Level 4 qualification made it difficult to connect what I was learning on paper to my job role. Having a study programme to follow at nesma applied more discipline to my studies and I felt a lot more focused.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-central-palette-2-color\">What are the best things about your job?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4><p>The most enjoyable part of my job is that no two days are the same &#8211; I\u2019m constantly challenged to think of new ways NTE can effectively market to their existing B2B customer base. Retention and reputation have been key for NTE\u2019s success over the last 30 years and marketing can massively influence a customer\u2019s decision to stay with a brand, having that responsibility gives me real purpose within the organisation.<\/p><p>It\u2019s a bonus that I\u2019m surrounded by a great bunch of people who are willing to support me as I progress through my career \u2013 something which I think is essential for young professionals.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-central-palette-2-color\">How has your day to day role changed after qualifying?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4><p>The CIM qualification has taught me that marketing isn\u2019t an individual unit and, it requires the input and resources from the entire organisation to maximise results. I now look at the bigger picture when thinking of new ideas and consider how other teams will be involved in the execution.<\/p><hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background has-central-palette-2-background-color has-central-palette-2-color is-style-wide\"\/><p>All of nesma\u2019s qualification and training sessions have currently moved online to support our existing students and potential clients. We are running all our&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hyperlink-technology.com\/nesma\/qualifications\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>CIM and CIPR
