She chose instead to dive straight into the working world to gain valuable training and experience on the job; working her way up from Customer Services to the Marketing Team.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We caught up with Emma, who is currently studying for her <span style=\"color: #b5be00;\"><a style=\"color: #b5be00;\" href=\"https:\/\/hyperlink-technology.com\/nesma\/qualification\/cim-certificate-in-professional-marketing\/\">CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing<\/a><\/span> with <span style=\"color: #333e48;\">nesma<\/span>.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #b5be00;\">Job title\/ Employer<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>Marketing Assistant \/<span style=\"color: #b5be0e;\"> <a style=\"color: #b5be0e;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.renolit.com\/corporate\/en\/\">RENOLIT Cramlington Ltd<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #b5be00;\"><strong>Your job in a nutshell<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>I work in the Marketing department and support the Product Manager with new product developments, organising exhibitions, and day to day tasks such as analysing sales figures and researching new market opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #b5be00;\">How did you get your job?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>I left sixth form with no intention of going to university and applied for a \u2018Commercial Apprentice\u2019 role within the company. I spent a year working in Customer Service and a year in the Sales and Marketing department. Throughout this time I completed a Level 2 NVQ in Business Admin, and a Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service. Upon completion of my apprenticeship, I was offered a permanent position as a Marketing Assistant. I have since completed my Level 3 Certificate in Marketing with nesma and I\u2019m currently studying towards completing my Level 4.<\/p>\n<p>4 years on and I am still enjoying my job!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #b5be00;\">What is the most enjoyable part of your job?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>Going into work and not knowing what is going to be thrown at you. Some days can be spent behind a desk collating and analysing sales figures, and others can be spent visiting distributors and collecting samples from customers to support trials.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #b5be00;\">What was the best day of your work so far?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>The day I have enjoyed the most at work so far has to be the days spent at the Global sales meeting in Newcastle with 81 employees from other RENOLIT sites across the world.
