Sixteen marketers have successfully completed their Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications this September with nesma. One of those celebrating is Hayleigh Johnston, the Marketing Assistant at XLVets <\/a><\/span><\/strong>based in Dalston, Carlisle.<\/h3>\n

Hayleigh studied the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing \u2013 Level 4<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, a course for aspiring professional marketers who wish to gain knowledge and skills to succeed and progress within a career in marketing.<\/p>\n

Hayleigh joined XLVets in July 2015 on the business administration apprenticeship scheme after completing her A-Levels. It was not long before she moved into her new role as Marketing Assistant.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hayleigh says<\/strong>, \u201cI\u2019ll be honest, it\u2019s not easy to work and study, but the nesma team supported me every step of the way, always keeping the training relevant and engaging. \u00a0I decided to take the course as I have a keen interest in digital marketing and wanted to develop my marketing skills further. I\u2019m now working on developing more targeted electronic updates to members and looking to use my new skills to help member practices with their electronic communications to clients\u201d.<\/p>\n

Veronica Swindale continued<\/strong>, \u201cWe focus on the needs of the learner and this ethos runs through everything we do which is ultimately reflected in the results our students achieve. Many students talk about the chance to meet and connect with other marketers being almost as useful as the qualification itself. And we make sure all our tutors are industry practitioners who have a wide range of practical experience\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has never been a more important time to ensure you have a plan for your continued professional development, there is a lot of change in our industry but the fundamentals of marketing still apply even if the context has changed. And I\u2019m pleased to say that as well as our students keeping us on our toes, the professional bodies are continually reviewing and refreshing the content of the qualifications to reflect the modern marketers’ needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll our courses are taught at the lovely Cumbria Park Hotel in Carlisle<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, which means we can give our students plenty of free coffee, biscuits and most importantly free parking\u201d.<\/p>\n

Veronica Swindale set up nesma after a successful career in sales and marketing after recognising the need for continuous professional development at all levels. Now nesma is an accredited teaching centre for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Institute of Public relations and the Digital Marketing Institute in the North East, Scotland and Cumbria.<\/p>\n
