Planning for a successful future requires a commitment to continuing professional development for every marketer at every level. As our new term approaches in September\u00a0meet some of the nesma students who have already invested in their careers.<\/p>\n

Jenn is the PR executive at NBS<\/a><\/span><\/strong> responsible for raising their profile locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. She already had a PR degree but studied CIM to help her integrate effective communication campaigns with her colleagues. They say every day is a learning day and that\u2019s so true in Marketing!<\/p>\n

Laura<\/a><\/strong><\/span> is responsible for developing and maintaining the National Glass Centre\u2019s audiences. Studying CIM has given her the confidence to develop her own ideas and campaigns. Given the Centre\u2019s pivotal role in the Sunderland City of Culture bid for 2021, now is the perfect time to showcase these skills.<\/p>\n

Christine is the National Business Development Manager<\/a> <\/span><\/strong>at Capita Property and Infrastructure responsible for ensuring its commercial strategy is totally aligned to its goals. The digital know-how from her CIM Diploma is helping her to devise digital campaigns that effectively engage her customers.<\/p>\n

Rachael is a career changer<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, who moved into communications following a successful career in Finance and Project Management. Studying with CIPR helped to set in motion a new career journey. Proving with the right training and support network, it’s never too late to follow your passions and find a fulfilling career.<\/p>\n

Kate is the Managing<\/span> Director of Blue Shadow Marketing<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, she works to promote growth in small firms by encouraging business owners to think more strategically about their marketing. Being self-taught, the CIM Level 6 Professional Diploma in Marketing gave her a much fuller, broader knowledge of the subject. She is also now one of the nesma\u00a0tutors<\/a><\/span><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Jaya works for Hay & Kilner Law Firm <\/a><\/span><\/strong>to help drive customer acquisition and retention activities and assist in building the organisation\u2019s profile externally and internally. \u00a0Studying has helped to steer her approach more strategically and the opportunity to meet like-minded marketers has been the icing on the cake.<\/p>\n

Alison works at McEvoy Engineering Ltd<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and is part of the first CIM Marketing Leadership cohort. \u00a0She has already found that the knowledge acquired from studying the Level 7 with nesma has been extremely useful in the day to day running of the business.<\/p>\n

Dale works at Bond Dickinson law firm<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and knew studying would be beneficial to both his\u00a0career and his employer. And he likes to use the weekly classes as an opportunity to not only learn the theory but also run his ideas and issues past the other members of the class to learn from their views and experience.<\/p>\n
